Nothing he did or did not do in the main event of night one of AAA Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas last night (Fri., Sept. 11, 2026) was going to change that. But I’ll be damned if he didn’t pull off yet another amazing feat. At 51-years-old, no less! This man went out there and had a legitimately entertaining battle against Omos in what was a perfectly executed David vs. Goliath style encounter. Mysterio is something like 5 ft, 6 inches tall while Omos is over 7 ft. There is no world where this should make any sense, but they figured out a way to pull it off. AAA dropped news at Triplemania 34 Night 1 to reveal the newest member of the Hall of Fame. Marisela Peña will be inducted at Heroes Inmortales on October 24 in Mexico City. La Lic. AAA’s handling of Los Perros del Mal is one of the few disappointments in the WWE era. Bringing back the classic faction brought a sense of excitement. So much so that fans overlooked the losing ways of Angel and Berto to give them a fresh start. It didn’t take long for AAA to squander that aura at the altar of Penta in a meaningless match. The next step was to rebound to get their heat back by winning the trios titles. That looks good on paper, but they still looked weak in victory at Triplemania 34 Night 1 (Sep. 11, 2026) in Las Vegas. Daga, Angel, and Berto challenged the Psycho Circus crew of Psycho Clown, Murder Clown, and Dave The Clown. Psycho was a replacement for the injured Panic Clown. Roxanne Perez is the new #1 contender… for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. The Prodigy competed in a four-way at Triplemania 34 Night 1 (full results) from Las Vegas on Friday night (Sep. 11, 2026). Roxanne’s competition was Nattie Neidhart, Faby Apache, and La Hiedra. Current champion Flammer joined commentary to scout the match. Even though the crowd cheered for Roxanne, the wrestlers took pleasure in teaming up on her. Roxanne showed her moxie to pick her spots, such as trapping Faby in a dangerous crossface submission. The action broke down with Nattie and Faby getting smashed on the outside.
