Former WWE world champion debuts in AAA

AAA general manager Rey Mysterio promised a big surprise that was a former WWE world champion, and he delivered Damian Priest. Priest made his AAA debut on the latest episode airing Saturday night (July 4, 2026) taped from Merida, Mexico. Rey opened the show stating his goal to bring the biggest stars in the world to AAA. That’s when he introduced a man who represents lucha libre. That man is Priest. Speaking in Spanish to the crowd, Priest ran over the accomplishments of his career. He beat superstars around the globe, but he’s never competed in AAA. Priest is here to dominate. He warned rudos and tecnicos alike that they will fall to him in the ring.
