If you’ve watched NXT at all in recent months or follow along with it here on Cageside or elsewhere, you’re probably well aware by now that the women’s division is the best part of the show every week. It’s deep and talented, and for a variety of reasons, the female competitors are just way more interesting than their male counterparts. At the top of the list of interesting stars is new NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey, who has earned widespread praise for her noticeable potential. Kendal was set for her first title defense tonight after Nattie played her ‘Hart’ card last week and cashed in on almost two decades of success to skip the line and get a shot at gold.
