Rey Mysterio vs. Omos at Triplemania 34 was a masterpiece

Nothing he did or did not do in the main event of night one of AAA Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas last night (Fri., Sept. 11, 2026) was going to change that. But I’ll be damned if he didn’t pull off yet another amazing feat. At 51-years-old, no less! This man went out there and had a legitimately entertaining battle against Omos in what was a perfectly executed David vs. Goliath style encounter. Mysterio is something like 5 ft, 6 inches tall while Omos is over 7 ft. There is no world where this should make any sense, but they figured out a way to pull it off.
