Orange Cassidy & more international stars added to CMLL Grand Prix teams

CMLL is bringing in international stars from AEW, NJPW, ROH, RevPro, MLW, and MLP for the Grand Prix event. The Grand Prix is one of my favorite matches on the CMLL calendar, because the fans treat it like a big deal. They get rowdy in support of Mexico, as if it were a World Cup game. The concept is a torneo cibernetico with luchadores representing Mexico versus a team of wrestlers from around the world. Only one man remains standing as the ultimate winner. This year’s CMLL Grand Prix for the men takes place on August 7 from Arena Mexico. The full teams have been revealed.
