The wrestler recounted the story on the latest episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, which dropped on Thursday (July 16). During the conversation, Gangrel also spoke about his surprise appearance for AEW in 2024 when he came to the aid of Adam Copeland, his work as a trainer at Rusev’s KECH Pro Wrestling Academy, and how he’s still competing at the age of 57. But perhaps the most interesting part of the talk with Van Vliet came when Gangrel recalled spraying Trump —years before he was a politician — with fake blood at a house show in New York City in 1999 or 2000. And according to the vampiric wrestler, the whole incident was set up by Vince McMahon
