Run the Gauntlet, get Intercontinental title match at SummerSlam
There are a number of wrestlers who have been hanging around the mid-card title scene enough that it made it easy for WWE to go with one of Triple H’s favorite booking tropes — a multi-person match for the right to challenge for a championship.
In this case, it will be a seven-man Gauntlet match for the right to challenge Penta for his Intercontinental title at SummerSlam, scheduled for Sat., Aug. 1 & Sun., Aug. 2, 2026, at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The match will take place on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw and feature the following wrestlers:
