The Vanity Project and Myles Borne & Tavion Heights were a major focus of today’s (Sun., Aug. 30, 2026) NXT Heatwave television special from Edinburg, Texas, with two championship matches booked featuring members of both sides, and Borne, holding two titles coming in, forced to pull double duty. First, Borne & Heights took on Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes for the tag team titles. Swipe Right, as they are known collectively, worked Borne over, wearing him down.
