These pre-premium live event pep rallys were called “press conferences” at one point, but because they weren’t actually press conferences — which they don’t hold anywhere any more — they’re now Kickoffs. The pre-show program that used to be a Kickoff is now a “Countdown”. Those names have stuck as we head into another year of WWE’s TKO Era, so hopefully you’re starting to get used to them.
