WWE SummerSlam 2026 results: Chelsea Green rises from the dead to win the Interim WWE Women's Championship

WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is currently injured and unable to defend her belt. Instead of vacating the title, WWE decided to crown an interim champion today (Aug. 2) at SummerSlam Sunday in a 5-way ladder match. Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, Lash Legend, and United States Champion Tiffany Stratton all won qualifying matches on SmackDown to earn their way into this match. A 5-way ladder match is expected to include several painful and/or crazy spots.
