WWE serves a nothing burger with Oba Femi and Bron Breakker after SmackDown

While the company delivered on that promise, fans ultimately got a whole lot of nothing. On Wednesday, WWE announced that Femi and Cody Rhodes would challenge Breakker and Austin Theory for Raw’s World Tag Team titles. The match took place Friday at Boston’s TD Garden after the show went off the air. But instead of a battle between monsters, fans mostly got a one-on-one bout between Rhodes and Theory, with a sprinkle of interference from Maxxine Dupri. Footage from vlogger Matt Kempke showed Breakker and Femi finally going at it near the end of the match. After a brief brawl, they tumbled to the floor when Femi clotheslined Breakker over the ropes.
