On tonight’s (July 24) episode of SmackDown, Sami Zayn complained to GM Adam Pearce about the way Nick Aldis screwed him out of qualifying for the SummerSlam main event last weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Everyone else in WWE seems to be handed whatever match they want at SummerSlam, so why does The Last Real Good Guy keep getting a raw deal? Pearce didn’t give Zayn what he wanted at SummerSlam, which was to be added to the WWE championship match of Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk. However, Pearce did agree to book him in a number one contender’s match at WWE’s biggest party of the summer. Zayn’s opponent would be whoever wins tonight’s 4-way main event between United States Champion Trick Williams, hometown hero Royce Keys, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest.
