Let’s start the new work week strong. Lead Rumor: All In London All In is obviously the talk of the town after yesterday and Fightful Select is bringing word on some backstage details going into the show. They note that Will Ospreay challenging Kenny Omega for the world title in the main event was a plan more generally dating back to early this year, with a path mapped out from MJF to Omega before Ospreay took the championship for himself. They also had Kevin Knight vs. Darby Allin and MJF & Andrade El Idolo working in the Casino Gauntlet planned for a number of months ahead of time. There was a lot of the card AEW had worked out for some time. One that wasn’t? The AEW World Trios Championship, which was finalized just this past week. For that matter, the Motor City Machine Guns were also apparently never factored into anything, and that was done intentionally.
