WWE remains coy about SummerSlam two-night lineup

WWE has answered the who, what, where, and why for SummerSlam. The only question left is when. As of Sunday, WWE had yet to officially announce which matches would take place on each night of this year’s two-night event. It did something similar ahead of WrestleMania 42 this year, which drew criticism from one of its own stars, Nikki Bella. “I feel like they need to start letting superstars tell people what night they’re competing,” Bella said in April during an episode of The Nikki & Brie Show with her sister Brie. She explained that revealing each night’s lineup helps fans who can’t attend both shows decide which card to attend. “Let them buy that one night,” Bella urged. According to ticket tracker WrestleTix last week, WWE had distributed less than a combined 60,000 tickets for this year’s show at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium, which boasts a 66,000-seat capacity.
