His best days were in NXT, but it came as a surprise to see him pop up like an Aussie Jack-in-the-Box in Orlando. He did a work shoot promo which, to be honest, didn’t do much for me. It wasn’t him or his delivery, since I’ve always liked Grayson on the mic. He always sounds believable and knows his voice. But it’s hard truly taking those things seriously in a day and age where Unreal is advertised in the bottom right-hand corner. The cognitive dissonance there of WWE telling me this is all scripted while also wanting me to believe that this particular moment isn’t scripted is hard for me to get around.
