TNA mystery attacker leads to Matt Hardy in world title bout

The mystery attacker struck again in TNA, and it led to Matt Hardy in a TNA world title bout for next week. Say what? A mystery attacker is running rampant in the Impact Zone for weeks. Last week’s victim was Jeff Hardy. The assault put Jeff into an ambulance. Fast forward to this week on Impact (Sep. 3, 2026), and Matt Hardy pointed accusations at the Nemeth brothers. The Hardys’ plan was to cash in their contractual rematch for the TNA tag team titles. Nic denied this outrageous allegation. Words turned heated, and Matt socked a few punches. Nic and Ryan were two-on-one to pound Matt until security restored order.
