WWE announced on Thursday (July 30) that due to an “unprecedented demand” for tickets, AAA’s Triplemanía event in Las Vegas will now take place in a larger venue. The two-night, two country Triplemanía kicks off on September 11 in Las Vegas with the second event taking place at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on September 13. But whereas night one was originally scheduled for Luxor in Las Vegas, the show will now be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena, which has a capacity of around 15,000. The move is further evidence of AAA’s hot streak. Last year’s Triplemanía 33 at the Arena CDMX drew a record attendance crowd of 19,691, and WWE has said it was the most-viewed and highest-grossing Triplemanía in the event’s history.
