MJF chokes Justin Roberts for not calling him The One True Champion in AEW

MJF returned to AEW at Grand Slam Mexico with his Triple B version of the world championship. Just like CM Punk did in 2023, MJF is asserting that his belt is the real deal, while Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay are the ones fighting in a “fake main event” later this month over Omega’s toy belt at All In London. Despite MJF’s claim about his world title being the one that counts, he still wants to win Omega’s toy belt for some reason. To that end, he competed tonight (Aug. 12) on Dynamite in a 3-way match against Speedball Bailey and Nick Wayne, with the winner earning the number two spot in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In.
