WWE gives us an UnReal look at John Cena’s rocky retirement run

Part behind-the-scenes docuseries, part new layer of kayfabe, Netflix’s WWE UnReal is coming back on July 21 with five new 50-minute episodes. The streamer announced as much today (July 6), while also dropping this trailer for the third season of UnReal on us: As you can see, the post-heel-turn portion of John Cena’s retirement run last year is a major focus. We see the hold he tapped out to Gunther from Saturday Night’s Main Event briefly, and Liv Morgan’s Survivor Series return also indicates this season will probably take us to the end of 2025.
