Former WWE star pleads guilty to charges related to stabbing incident

2 Cold Scorpio aka Flash Funk | (WWE.com) Professional wrestler Charles Scaggs, best known to fans as 2 Cold Scorpio in ECW/WCW and as Flash Funk in WWE, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action. The charges stem from a violent incident during which he stabbed a man multiple times in an act he described as self-defense. Scaggs agreed to the charges as part of a plea deal that will prevent him from going to trial, and he will now instead be sentenced on October 9. The stabbing occurred during a scuffle in June 2024 at Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri. Scaggs, who was working as a security guard at the store, asked a customer to extinguish a lit cigarette inside the building. The customer later told TMZ he did not light the cigarette inside the establishment and thought he had put it out before entering, but he added that the cigarette might not have been fully extinguished.
