Eddie Kingston has an ambitious goal for his career
Cageside Seats
Eddie Kingston’s career hit its peak to date by becoming a triple champion across AEW, NJPW, and ROH. Unfortunately, the Mad King suffered a serious setback due to injury. Upon return, Kingston laid low, mostly competing in ROH alongside Ortiz. Now, he is back in the groove with ambitious goals. First, Kingston entered the AEW Continental Challenge Cup tournament. He will wrestle Claudio Castagnoli in the quarterfinals this Saturday on Collision (Aug. 22, 2026). Kingston isn’t stopping there. He has his eyes on another championship. Kingston wants to challenge Hechicero for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship in Arena Mexico. He sent in a promo to air on CMLL Informa. Kingston wants the Alchemist at his best and without the Callis Family. One-on-on, dog. #CMLLInforma || ⌛️🌎 ¡Eddie Kingston con un objetivo claro!
