CMLL releases statement on Tessa Blanchard

This piece of news has me scratching my head. CMLL released a statement in regard to Tessa Blanchard, and I can’t figure out what prompted the need to. Blanchard has a checkered employment history, so my instant reaction was, “Damn, what now?” Turns out that the statement is nothing negative. It clarifies her status with the company. MLW recently announced that Blanchard will debut at the Fightland event on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina. Apparently, that news made waves with fans wondering if this was the end of Blanchard’s time in CMLL. That is far from the case, at least for now. CMLL clarified that Blanchard’s participation with MLW is exclusively for that date. No future shows or championship matches have been arranged.
