Adam Copeland calls out former TNA world champion for PPV fight

Adam Copeland has pride for Canadian wrestling, so he supports platforms that allow Canadian wrestlers to hone their skills and be seen by a greater audience. That’s not just words from Cope. He is backing it up by debuting in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, owned by Scott D’Amore, on their Northern Rising PPV in Toronto on October 3. Copeland already has an opponent in mind, and that man is a former TNA world champion. Steve Maclin recently appeared on the MLP Mayhem weekly program. The former TNA world champion ran his mouth as the ‘ugly American’ calling Canadian wrestling a feeder system to the USA. He asked the fans why all their heroes left Canada for the USA. It’s true that Canada produces professional wrestlers, but America produces legends. Mic drop. Maclin’s promo caught the attention of Copeland.
