Zelina Vega may be trying to secure a new ring name

Vega — along with her husband, Aleister Black — was among the large group of wrestlers released by WWE this spring. The name “Zelina Vega” that she used during her two runs with WWE is owned by the company, as is reportedly “Queen Zelina,” which she was known by for a period of time after winning the Queen of the Ring tournament in 2021. Vega, whose real name is Thea Trinidad Büdgen, seemingly wants to be billed as “Xelina” following her return to the ring. She filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for “Xelina” on July 20.
