WWE SummerSlam 2026 results: Liv Morgan finally defends her championship

WWE decided to kick off its SummerSlam premium live event at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota tonight (Sat., Aug. 1, 2026) with Liv Morgan putting the women’s world championship on the line for the first time in the over 100 days she’s held the title. Yes, she legitimately went that long after winning it without putting it up for grabs. Sky won the Queen of the Ring tournament in Saudi Arabia to earn this chance.
