When Baron Corbin made his big return to WWE, he did so by going right for a mid-card championship. He targeted United States Champion Trick Williams right away, earning himself a spot on the SummerSlam premium live event t0night (Sun., Aug. 2, 2026) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Unfortunately, they were given a tough spot on the card — tasked with following an opener that featured Kevin Owens making his return after 17 months away to steal away the number one contender spot for the WWE championship.
