WWE announces final qualifying match for women’s interim title at SummerSlam

Rhea Ripley is still out injured but she’s a big enough star that WWE didn’t want her to vacate the women’s championship. Instead, they’ll go the UFC route and create an interim title for the roster to fight over while the real champ gets healthy. It creates an obvious match-up when she returns, they unify the titles, you know how it goes.
