Toxic drama leads to La Catalina as #1 contender for AAA women’s title

Ever since La Catalina debuted in AAA, most assumed it was only a matter of time before she wins the Reina de Reinas Championship. Catalina is one step closer to that goal. La Diva del Ring was the favorite to win the #1 contender gauntlet match at Ola de Calor (Aug. 30, 2026), and she did just that. But, it wasn’t without drama. Drama that might tear Las Toxicas apart. Flammer was ringside with her title to observe the gauntlet match. Lady Shani pinned Adelicious off the Texas Tumbleweed rolling roll-up. NXT’s Thea Hail was next. She countered Shani’s Tumbleweed for a roll-up of her own. La Catalina was fourth to arrive. Hail did serious damage to Catalina’s left arm. Catalina was trapped in a kimura in the middle of the ring. She was able to roll over the top for a bridging pin to eliminate Hail. This is where the drama came in. Flammer’s Toxicas teammate La Hiedra was the final contestant. Flammer was shocked at the betrayal. Hiedra danced seductively to the ring. 😱🔥 ¡¿Qué está
