The Motor City Machine Guns’ run in AEW has been a huge disappointment up to this point, mostly because they’ve barely been on television. AEW officially announced that Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are All Elite after their surprise appearance on the July 30 live episode of Collision in their hometown of Detroit. MCMG then disappeared from AEW programming for the build to August’s All In London pay-per-view. They did appear at Wembley Stadium in a post-match segment to confront AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. However, since then, Sabin and Shelley have only wrestled one match against low card guys, which took place on the Sept. 5 episode of Collision.
