Surprising elimination with NXT wrestler in TNA Knockouts TV title tournament

The Knockouts Television Championship tournament had been going mostly as expected so far with winners in the first round. Indi Hartwell and Mara Sade advanced as favorites to reach the finals. Heather and M were the recipients of elegant cheating to overcome Allie and Rosemary. Jody Threat had a strong return. Thea Hail carried the NXT rub to move forward. The same can’t be said for her NXT coworker Wendy Choo. Nor for the other favorite Elayna Black. Both were eliminated from the tournament on TNA Impact (July 23, 2026) Black wrestled Choo to a time-limit draw. Black surged for a double arm DDT. Choo rolled outside to recover. Black’s plan to climb the corner backfired when Choo grabbed her for a superplex. Black rolled away on the mat as defense to avoid a pin. That’s when the bell rang for a draw after ten minutes of action.
