Samoa Joe trying to get laid eventually gave us this Dark Side of the Ring episode

The latest episode of the fantastic Dark Side of the Ring series covers one of the most infamous independent matches of all time, Samoa Joe vs. Necro Butcher from the IWA Mid-South show at the ECW Arena on June 11, 2005. Joe was the Ring of Honor champion, a big bruiser who would throw hands with anyone, while Butcher was a deathmatch wrestler. The story of the two coming together is something else, and they delve into the entire thing. What is getting the most play today, however, is Joe telling the story of why he really took the match in the first place. “My wife, then girlfriend at the time, she lived close to Philly. So, I literally took the booking cause I was trying to get some ass.” And then he went out and beat the trash out of Butcher, so badly in fact that said future wife left early because it made her sick.
