Lead rumor: Sheamus’ status We know Sheamus is done with WWE after word got around that he rejected a restructured contract for less money. He was moved to the Alumni section of the company website, and changed all his social media information. We just didn’t know when he would be free and clear. We may known now. That’s because Fightful Select brings word that his actual contract with WWE won’t expire until October 1, 2026. They do not know, however, what led to his deal expiring later than anyone thought, though it could be due to injury time being added. Either way, any idea of his going to AEW or elsewhere in the near future will have to be put on hold.
