March 13, 2026 Sources told WrestleVotes there is a lot of internal frustration in WWE regarding the promotional graphics for WrestleMania 42, which have undergone multiple changes from the originally planned “high-end, classy vibe.” These visual changes have been made because the direction for WrestleMania 42 has “never been clear.” Probably a ton of alternative history graphics there. Votes also mentioned that WWE has discussed the idea of booking matches with exciting stipulations or high stakes during WrestleMania’s first hour on ESPN cable networks, in order to hook viewers into watching the entire event. They did that – with Brock/Oba an opening match, the Drew McIntyre/Jacob Fatu unsanctioned match, and the Intercontinental title ladder match.
