People in WWE reportedly feel ‘handcuffed’ by Netflix censoring Raw so much

This week’s (Aug. 31) episode of WWE Raw on Netflix wasn’t live, because it was taped last Friday night. The taped episode that aired Monday night was then censored by Netflix, with Jey Uso’s bloody face being pixelated during Royce Keys’ ambush in the opening segment. Jacob Fatu’s mouth was also pixelated (and the audio bleeped) a few minutes later when he said the word “motherfuckers” while cutting a promo at ringside. Netflix has a history of editing WWE programming like this, even cutting out Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi flipping each other off from a replay of Raw in July. As you might have guessed, it sounds like WWE is frustrated by Netflix censoring their content to this degree.
