Paige says she’s ‘a WWE girl’, and ‘you could see that’ in her work for AEW

Hot soundbite making the rounds this Monday morning, and the folks at The Bella Twins’ podcast knew it when they sent this quote around to promote the new episode of The Nikki & Brie Show out today (July 20), which was filmed live at the just-completed Fanatics Fest in New York City. The quote in question is about Paige’s 2022-2025 AEW run as Saraya (her real first name), which followed her 11-year first stint in WWE: “Well, I did go to AEW, and I did have a great time there, but my heart wasn’t in it. “I feel like you could see that in my performance when I was in the ring and in my character.
