Mercedes Moné breaks her nose and finally wins the AEW women’s world championship

Mercedes Moné challenged Willow Nightingale for the AEW women’s world championship today (Aug. 30) at All In London. Willow walked into the match with a broken hand, but she dished out the damage right back to The CEO by busting up her nose early in the bout. The commentators speculated that Mercedes was almost certainly dealing with a broken nose as her blood spilled out. The punishment was brutal in this match, with Willow suplexing Mercedes to the outside and then hitting a Spanish Fly back inside the ring.
