Kane has a great shot at being a U.S. Senator next year, per report

Jacobs recently finished serving two terms as mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, and he already has the general backing of President Donald Trump. In May 2026, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: “Glenn Jacobs has a BIG political future in Tennessee – A great guy!!!” When covering the end of his run as mayor, Knoxville’s 6 News reported that Jacobs was mulling a run for governor. “When asked about his political future, Jacobs said he would have to consider whether or not it would be the right decision for his family,” Jack Ziskin of Knoxville 6 News reported. “He added that running Knox County is a big job, and he would have to consider if he has the right skill set to run for statewide office and represent all 95 counties in Tennessee.” Ho
