Chelsea Green will not be stripped of the women’s championship

She deserves it. That’s the message the fans had for Chelsea Green as she stood in the ring, opposite SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, sporting a broken orbital bone and the facial bruising to go with it. She is the WWE women’s champion, something she’s worked her entire life for, despite all the talk of being a comedy wrestler, or being the woman who works against the big stars. She appealed to Aldis, that he should understand where she’s coming from, because he, too, proved a lot of people wrong at SummerSlam. He was going to strip her of the title and she couldn’t believe he would do such a thing. And then he had a change of heart. He told Green she has 30 days to get cleared, get a face mask, do whatever it is she needs to do to defend her championship. But until someone takes it from her, she is indeed the champion. WOW 👏 Nick Aldis is giving @ImChelseaGreen 30 days to get healthy and defend the Women's WWE Title! pic.twitte
