After weeks of vignettes talking about wasting his first opportunity and rising up to make his return to WWE, Big Cass finally made his way to a live episode of Monday Night Raw this evening (Aug. 3, 2026) in Des Moines, Iowa. It was played up to be a redemption story, which you would think would mean he would be back as a babyface. Nope! Despite the earlier messaging, he came back as a bad guy, springing a sneak attack on Je’Von Evans just after he defeated Ethan Page in a singles match in the first hour of the show. Commentary opened wondered why he would go this route, considering he actually is trying to earn some redemption.
