Athena is targeting Hulk Hogan next after surpassing Roman Reigns' championship record

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena calls herself the “Forever Champion,” because she won that belt in December 2022 and has held onto it for over 1360 days. Earlier this summer, she surpassed WWE star Roman Reigns’ modern-day championship record for the longest world title reign. The “modern-day” qualifier is thrown in there a lot for lengthy title runs these days, like when CM Punk held the WWE championship throughout all of 2012, because it’s hard to imagine any current wrestler in a major promotion holding a world championship for four consecutive years.
